What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn't ever work out what an e/w return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd eyeball it and get a shock. Now I stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that's where most people I know got it wrong. One thing that really shifted things for me were the nerdier extras. There's an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin's baked in, and there's the kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too if I'm spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The design is a bit basic — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it's usable though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There's no app, it's a website and that's it — fine by me just flagging it.
